Shane Ynclan is an American coming from California.
Create in 2010, this producer began to release productions under the name of Synclan only in 2015.
In fact it is not his first musical project but his first solo one.
Indeed, his facebook page indicates us that Synclan is « 1/5th Heli Showdown & 1/2 Zero Friendz ».
He has worked on all the tracks of Helicopter Showdown during year 2015.
He is also one of the two producers of Zero Friendz with his friend Ryan Wade (also member of Helicopter Showdown).
Synclan is also a founding member of Alien Tribe, an American Bass Music label partly founded by Omegamode.
This label also gathers Stabby & Subkill. Among their productions, we find a common style based on super-violent Brostep but also a bit of Trap under different shapes.
Shane doesn’t derogate to the rule !
With almost 20 tracks, we note that his productions are placed under the sign of melody and violence as testify songs like « Bass Talk » or again « Grey Skull » in collab with Bitcrusher.
Moreover, he produced a huge remix of « First Blood » from Helicopter Shodown.
He also made 3 collabs with another member of Alien Tribe : Stabby.
We will especially notice « Nuclear Winter », surely one of the most heavy tracks from this artist with the famous vocal « Imma Try It Out » from Skrillex taken for the drop.
Always with Stabby, he also released « Disconnected », a huge Trap track, quite gentle and bewitching with Dubstep sonorities.
Talking of Trap, it is not his only track in this register.
His others prods « On The Run » and « Collateral » are as heavy as his Dubstep tracks.
In conclusion, Synclan is an artist with different faces and a promising future.
But about his venue in France, his geographic situation and his number of followers (3500) let us think that it won’t happen anytime soon.
But who knows, maybe we can hope a party with the Alien Tribe label with the whole team one day !
As a conclusion, we have decided to give you a selection of 3 of the bests tracks from Synclan according to the Stoner crew.
(This rating is purely subjective and not exhaustive, these are the sounds that got us vibrate the most).
